In wintertime, breakfast and dinner are served in the welcoming
atmosphere of the Podere's dining room.
Breakfast is continental - buffet style, although hot
drinks are served at the table. Croissants and rolls can be
enjoyed with homemade jams or locally produced honey, and
there is fresh fruit, yoghurt and much more besides.
Dinner, a fixed menu that changes daily is a three
or four course affair and the food always typically Tuscan,
like Pappa al pomodoro, (a sort of bread and tomato "soup"),
la Ribollita, (re-boiled bean soup) fresh home-made pasta
and always features produce from the Val di Cornia is always
featured.
Come summer however, meals are served outside on the veranda!
Guests are also free to use a fridge placed at their disposal
in the dining room along with a selection of books, magazines
and games.
The veranda and dining room are pleasantly cozy so that guests
can socialize with each other, although each room does have
its own table.
